The end to the Tigers' impressive season came in defeat at the hands of an impressive Birmingham
Lions side. The two unbeaten teams faced each other in Coventry knowing that one teams winning streak had to come to an end,
unfortunately for the Tigers, Birminghams winning streak remained intact at the end of the day.
The Tiger's only score, a Matt McCusker sneak, came when they were already two scores down and briefly
brought some hope, but a score just before half time put Birmingham out of reach of a tiring Tigers side.
For many of the Tigers it was their last game in black and gold and each player gave their all. Looking
back on the season record, 12 games played, 11 wins, Scottish divisional champions, Northern Conference champions, 382 points
for, 120 against, and the conference final against Loughborough, possibly one of the most dramatic games to ever be played
at Tigerfield.
