The Glasgow Tigers claimed the Scottish division title with an impressive away win against an up
to that point undefeated oponent.
The Tigers opened strongly, forcing Leeds to punt after 4 downs, the Tigers took the game to Leeds,
rumbling up the field with some outstanding passing from McCusker. The Tigers were in possession for 13 of the first 15 minutes
of play but were trailing at half time by 6 points to 7.
In the second half the Tigers added two scores whilst Leeds could only reply once and when corner
back Stuart Proudlock intercepted the ball with 50 seconds on the clock, the Tigers' celebrations could begin as they became
Scottish champions for the first time since the 2000/01 season.
